It is never too early to ask, “How do I plan for the rest of my life?”
It is the goal of Solutions to equip students and families with the
information and resources that will enable each student to create their
own personalized blueprint for life after high school. As an adjunct to
current school district’s services, our flexible schedules allow us to
meet with students at a time that works around the busy demands of
classroom work, sports, after-school jobs, and family commitments.
The
number of individual Solutions clients continues to grow, and thanks to
the support of administrators and educators, we now bring career and
college search programs to middle schools, high schools and community based organizations to
schools from San Marcos to Santee and from Pt. Loma to Rancho Penasquitos; each year, we expand our services and resources to
individuals and additional sites. Since its inception in July 2006, we
have continued to develop and refine a variety of programs to ignite
students’ enthusiasm and curiosity for the future, starting as early as
the 7th Grade.
Whether you are a parent, student, educator or service organization
interested in helping young people in your community, Solutions offers
you a wide range of career and college services at no charge, including:
Career Exploration
Solutions programs have been presented at the following middle schools, high schools and community based organizations:

College Information
One-on-one individual consultation/college application education
With over 4,000 colleges in the U.S., knowing where to begin the search and how to best prepare for the many options available can be a daunting task. Families can start their information gathering and planning with an individual Solutions consultation. Student class choice, grades, extracurricular activities and community service are evaluated and a plan developed to help students prepare for, and discover colleges that value the “whole” student and which provide the best academic and social fit.
Solutions welcomes voluntary tax-deductible contributions for one-on-one services.
Classroom and small group college exploration with a
proprietary interactive software
Solutions develops college exploration programs to suit site-specific goals. Using a comprehensive proprietary interactive website, Solutions facilitates these programs for both school classrooms and community based organizations.
Group meetings with college admission
representatives for students and parents
This is a unique opportunity for families to meet informally with representatives and learn first-hand about critical admission information.
Solutions staff members are active members of the Western Association
for College Admission Counseling (WACAC) organization which provides access to the most up-to-date information on the college
application process.
